Assistant Director, Urban
Emer Loughran is one of Probation's two Assistant Directors for Urban areas. This primarily covers Probation’s work within the South and East Belfast areas along with the Down and Newtownards areas.
Emer also has responsibility for the Enhanced Combination Order Team covering the Down and Ards area, as well as the Aspire project, Reducing Reoffending in Partnership, and Performance, Practice and Research Unit. She is also responsible for Practice Standards, support hubs and Reportable Incidents. Emer is also Probation’s liaison lead with the Police.
