Assistant Director, Prisons
Melissa Spence is Probation's Assistant Director for Prisons.
This primarily covers Probation’s work within the three Prison establishments, including review of those subject to Life Licence both within custody and the community.
Melissa has lead responsibility for employability, Community and Voluntary sector, Duke of Edinburgh and is PBNI’s women’s policy lead.
She oversees Statistics and Research department and is responsible for the implementation of Probation’s Workforce Management tool.
